Protestant church in Mazet-Saint-Voy

Le premier temple était probablement situé dans l'angle sud-Ouest du pré qui fait actuellement face à la chapelle de Saint-Voy. Il est détruit en 1679.

Le nouveau temple est bâti en 1823. En granit, avec une couverture de phonolithe, il est le fruit des dons et du travail de ses fidèles.
Lors des alertes durant la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale, ses combles ont accueilli les réfugiés.

Protestant church in Mazet-Saint-Voy

The first protestant church was probably located in the southwest corner of the field that faces the Saint-Voy chapel. It was destroyed in 1679.

The new temple was built in 1823. Made of granite and « phonolite » (a magmatic greenish and grey rock), it is the result of work and donations from the followers.

During World War II, in case of emergency, some refugees were hosted in its attics.
